As described in Chardan NexTech Acquisition 2 Corp.'s (the "Issuer") registration statement on Form S-1 (File No. 333-254010), as amended (the "Registration Statement"), the reporting person owns 20,000 shares of the Issuer's common stock, par value $0.0001 per share (the "Common Stock"), pursuant to a Securities Assignment Agreement dated June 4, 2021 between the Chardan NexTech Investments 2 LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and the reporting person. On August 10, 2021, the Issuer effected a 1.1-for-1.0 stock split of its Common Stock, resulting in the issuance of 2,000 shares of Common Stock to the reporting person, so that the reporting person owns a total of 22,000 shares of Common Stock.
