F1 Represents vesting of shares of Chimera common stock underlying performance stock units ("PSUs") and the dividend equivalent rights ("DERs") accrued on such PSUs since the grant date. Each PSU has the economic equivalent of one share of Chimera common stock. The reporting person elected to defer share settlement until separation of service (such deferred share units are referred to as "DSUs") and does not intend to report the actual delivery of such DSUs.
F2 Dividend equivalent rights ("DERs') issued on RSUs, PSUs and DSUs are included in the reporting person's common stock holding balance. Each DER is the economic equivalent of one share of Chimera common stock.
