The Form 13F-HR filed by EnCap Energy Capital Fund IX, L.P. on August 13, 2018 incorrectly included Class A common stock of Earthstone Energy, Inc. when EnCap Energy Capital Fund IX, L.P. only holds Class B common stock of Earthstone Energy, Inc., which are not Section 13(f) Securities as defined in Rule 13f-1(c). EnCap Partners GP, LLC ("EnCap Partners GP") is the sole general partner of EnCap Partners, LP, which is the managing member of EnCap Investments Holdings, LLC, which is the sole member of EnCap Investments Holdings Blocker, LLC, which is the sole member of EnCap Investments GP, L.L.C., the general partner of EnCap Investments L.P., the general partner of EnCap Equity Fund IX GP, L.P., the sole general partner of EnCap Energy Capital Fund IX, L.P. Therefore, EnCap Partners GP may be deemed to share the right to direct the disposition of the securities held by EnCap Energy Capital Fund IX, L.P.
